FOOD: One day at Chelsea Market Café

by - Saturday, January 11, 2014

So it was one typical weekday when I had a lunch meeting with some of the people I work with over at Chelsea Market Café at their branch at the Podium Mall.

I got quickly stunned by the vibe that it has because everything just looks great in the eye! Love the thought that there are ceiling fans which make the place look like country-ish.

Since it's a café, they also offer different delicious drinks that people with sweet tooth like me cannot not try! Since I just arrived at the place, I picked my refreshment already. Here's what I got.

A Mocha Caramel Frappucino.

I really did not expect this drink to look this enticing! The moment that it was given to me, I just want to immediately consume it! :)

The cherry also looks pleasing, right? The only not-so nice thing about it is that you gotta consume the cream immediately because once it melts, you cannot hold the glass anymore because the glass is already sticky.

But other than that, this was not my typical kind of frappucino. I'll give it an 8/10. :)

We are also given a complimentary bread.

Focaccia Bread and a Bulb of Roasted Garlic
This is served with Olive oil and Balsamic Vinegar.

I have to say that this one really made my tummy ready for more sumptuous meal. This is my first time to try bread being dipped in a vinegar, and it offers a different kind of taste. It's quite sour in taste but then the bread gives the not-so-sweet taste. So in the end, the taste is kinda balanced.

We just consumed almost everything before I realized that I should take a nice picture of it first. Hihihi. :))

Next is this appetizer. I can't remember what is it called but my family calls it Dynamite. It's like a typical Cheese stick but it has a Hot Chili inside. Nevertheless, it didn't fail me because I'm always a fan of dairy. :) It's very cheesy and I can't get enough of it.

It comes with two different sauces which eventually complimented the cheese sticks.

The next food that is placed on our table is the Molten Cheese Risotto Balls.

This are the first Risotto Balls that I ever had! Yayyy to new firsts when it comes to food experiences! :)

These balls is made up of rice. I like how cheesy they are! And from the moment that I saw them, they were really mouth-watering I have to say!

And for the main course, we had Spare Ribs (Can't remember what is this called. Nyaay!)

I remember the main reason why we chose this one is because this is one of their best sellers. No doubt I have to say because it really does look delicious. Plus, the mashed potato on the side gives it a more fuller taste!

What just saddened me was while we're digging on this delicious plate, one of my friends notice that there is a hair in the plate. I just thought, they didn't have that lots of customers during that time that's why they are not in a rush to cook very fast.

Too sad that we weren't able to finish this plate. It would've been perfect for my taste but the sanitation is really of utmost importance to me.

Yes, incidents does happen and the staffs were really sorry for what had happened. In return, they gave us an NY Chocolate Chip Brown Dough Cheesecake.

How can I say no to this? Really! :) This is a good dessert because it's a tad sweet. A good dessert after a sumptuous meal.

Oh, and don't underestimate this single slice of cheesecake.Unless you are really a huge fan of cheesecakes, you cannot consume this all on your own!

And since we're on a meeting, we are mulling through stuff together with this Apple Green Tea.

Not a fan of hot teas here! But yeah, I just have to take a few sips and I loved it from then on! :)

The soothing taste is just great because I can taste real apple in it.

The last thing that we had at Chelsea is the Roasted Prawns and Prosciutto.

This sinful pizza goes well to those who love prawns and lettuce. Haha!

I love every single bit of it because it's very cheesy and there is a generous amount of prawns in it. :))

So that ends my food escapade over at Chelsea Food Market! :))
