Last summer, I stumbled upon a post about the Starbucks Pink Drink in the US. I drooled on my screen as I checked out the Strawberry Acai Refresher drink with coconut milk and strawberries on top because of how refreshing it looked. (Who would resist on the fresh slices of strawberries in a drink?) Too bad, this drink was unavailable here in the Philippines.

After summer, Starbucks Philippines is treating us with our own pink drink locally! (Woohoo!) Introducing the Açai Mixed Berry Yogurt Frappuccino. 

The Açai Mixed Berry Yogurt Frappuccino® blended beverage combines Açai berry-infused yogurt with bursting pearls that will delight you with the distinct and refreshing notes of mixed berry, finished with light and creamy milk foam.

I can remember this time last year, Starbucks released a different set of yogurt drinks in their menu. This was a thrilling moment to those who like Mango, Berry, Jelly, and Yogurt combined.

The Açai Mixed Berry Yogurt Frappuccino® became my instant favorite because of its bursting Açai pearls. With its generous amount, my gloomy afternoons weren't as gloomy anymore because of the sweetness that comes in every pearl.

While this unique drink can come a little sweet to some, the Açai Mixed Berry Yogurt Frappuccino can definitely capture the hearts of every berry lovers out there. A must try!

Aside from this drink, Starbucks also released the Granola Dark Mocha Frappuccino in their stores nationwide.

The Granola Dark Mocha Frappuccino® blended beverage is a marriage of Starbucks Coffee Frappuccino® with rich, chocolate flavors and a tasty blend of hearty cereal. It is topped with creamy milk foam and then sprinkled with a generous topping of crunchy granola and chunks of mixed fruits.

While granola had been a thing for quite some time already, I was only introduced to this breakfast cereal just this year. (I was kinda living under a rock these past few years haha)

Anyway, I personally liked this new dark mocha treatment because of the milk foam and granola combination. Also, the dark mocha flavor and the sweetness of granola are well-balanced in every sip.

With these new drinks, I highly think that Frappuccino is reintroduced to a whole new level.
