A Tour at Blogopolis 2013: #IntoTheWild

by - Wednesday, November 20, 2013

I was lucky to be a part of Nuffnang's  biggest event this year, Blogopolis 2013: #IntoTheWild, held at Intercontinental Hotel! Nice theme, right? But do you know that the WILD actually means something? WILD stands for Weaving Informations for the Leaders of the Digital World.

This event was anticipated by students, bloggers,  social media influencers, media, brands and agencies.

We all know that the Philippines got hit by the Typhoon Yolanda that's why the proceeds of the event went to the Philippine Red Cross to help the people in need especially in the Visayas area.

LG (They got an interesting pocket photo printer! :D )

Blogopolis 2013: #IntoTheWild is co-presented by Blink.

Paktor offers free tarot reading when you download their app! :)

The Blogopolis 2013 took place at the Grand Ballroom of Intercontinental Hotel.

There is a banquet waiting for the guests as they wait for the program to start.

Mini French Pastries at their finest! I can eat them the whole day! Hahaha!

Dark Chocolate with Almond Doughnuts. Yumyum!!

This eye catching chandelier filled my glance with so much awesomeness. :)

Franco Mabanta hosted the first part of the program. He then first requested everyone for a moment of silence in honor to the Filipinos who got deeply affected by the Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda.

Sir Abe Olandres opened the event with some remarks. Thanks for making this a very possible one. :D

First speaker was Maria Ressa. I feel so honored being an audience to her powerful talks. Her vast knowledge with Journalism + Internet makes it easier for every Filipino bloggers to utilize different social media platforms to establish Bayanihan in a very unique way. #HandsDown

The next speaker is Ms. Lori Baltazar. She talked about Podcasting which is kinda close to my heart because I've been hooked up to it just recently. Love the thought that she's a Filipino and she creates good podcasts about food. So unique!!

Another thing, I can so relate to her blog's name dessertcomesfirst.com! :)) Do you feel the same way, too?

Josh Villanueva of Rappler was the next speaker of the segment The Lion: Content is the King! He discussed the topic "Youtube: The Next Frontier".

TJ Manotoc shared his knowledge about utilizing twitter to express news in a different perspective-and that's twitter! :)

Camille Arevalo of Blink shared what's the next big thing in entertainment! Any guesses? :)

This made the Blogopolis a very interactive one. Every segment comprises of Panel Interview wherein audience can ask questions live or (If they're the introvert type of blogger) through twitter!

The next segment was The Eagle: Community and Advocacy in Social Media.

Sir Jim Paredes gave his insights on how Philippines can rebuild our nation even though we now exist in the digital age.

Nice move by Sir Jim! He used the traditional way to bring the audience back to life by asking them to massage each other's shoulders. Who wouldn't love that, right? :)

Panel Interview sesh with Franco Mabanta.

Of course, I wouldn't miss the chance to get a photo op with THE Jim Paredes. :)

I have to say that this is one of my most anticipated talks. Taking Readers Offline is the best talk for Ana Gonzales and Aisa Ipac because they know how to appreciate their readers whether they may be online or offline. Thanks to their Blogger's United Initiative. Hahahah! :)

#Throwback poster of Blogger's United Initiative. Interesting, ayt?

Woot! Sixth installment of Blogger's United on December 7 at World Trade Center!!

Everyone received a special loot from Oishi! Looks delighting. :)

I super love this talk from the Googly Gooeys because I learned a lot about creating compelling blog proposals. :) And I have to say that they have an awesome blog, swear!

The talk of Cynthia Dychiao about Utilizing Social Media as a Guide back Traffic to a blog is also very helpful for me. :)

I also learned about different social media platforms existing on the internet and smartphones.

Panel Interview for the segment "The Age of the Urban Ape: Maximizing your Social Media Platforms".

Chuckie and Yen Dreyfus talked about how to manage social media accounts. I wonder how they manage all the social media accounts that they have, so plenty! :)

Panel Interview: The Parrot: Market Your Social Media Accounts

The audience also listened to interviews from the man behind the Conjurain Aris Olea. [This man has lots of creative juices on him! :) ]

Dinner is served! :)

It's just nao that I realized that my outfit suits the Blogopolis theme so well. :)) My classmates were even singing the song Roar by Katy Perry. LOL.
