Just last week, I got the most amazing news (probably for the year) because Starbucks Coffee Company has brought the Starbucks Teavana Full Leaf Tea sachets and Handcrafted Beverages in Asia (PH included)!
Being a borderline coffee and tea addict, I definitely didn't missed out on the big leap Starbucks took.
There are times when I will choose tea over coffee when I want to feel more relaxed and zen. So just imagine my joy when I got firsthand news that Sbux will be offering different tea products. <3
I personally haven't tried Teavana before because I haven't been overseas where it was offered. So let me personally share with you my initial thoughts on every full leaf tea that they've just released in their stores!
Youthberry White Tea Blend
Youthberry is inspired by super fruits, acai fruit and is blended with tropical pineapple and mango flavors with high quality white tea, balanced by rosehips and tart green apple.
Upon steeping, its fruity smell already lingers. Mind you, because of rosehips, this tea in this batch got the greatest number of antioxidants. Now you know what to give your titas as present this Christmas! hihi ;)
Hibiscus Flavoured Herbal Blend
Hibiscus, on the other hand, is a bright, juicy papaya and mango combined with citrus lemongrass for a naturally caffeine-free blend. Hibiscus flowers lend the tea a slight tartness and extraordinary deep fuschia color.
I used to hate fruit-infused teas because of its acidic aftertaste. I really couldn't take it. But the moment I've tasted Hibiscus, I've became an instant convert and fell in love with this one. It's smooth and easy when taken plus it has low caffeine level. I totally ship this cup on lazy weekend afternoons!

Emperor's Clouds and Mist Green Tea
The Emperor's Clouds and Mist is exclusively harvested during the month of April and grown on the steep, windy slopes of Huangshan Mountain at 3,500 feet above sea level, this tea has a rich body and a naturally sweet flavor.
Perfect for people who are cleansing, this green tea is low in caffeine and makes a perfect drink after a fulfilling brekky or lunch. Also like how it doesn't have a distinct bitter aftertaste after a slurp.
English Breakfast Black Tea
A handcrafted blend of Indian Assam, Sri Lankan Ceylon and Chinese black tea. This tastes great with or without milk.
My personal go-to tea drink is the English Breakfast tea. I was giddy to get my hands on it because I want to know how it stands out among the others in the market.
With or without milk, Teavana's English Breakfast is still a topnotch. The caffeine kick and the hint of black tea is present in each sip. This is my ultimate alternative to coffee whenever I don't feel like drinking one since its caffeine is ready to keep up with my daily workload.
Aside from this full leaf tea products, Starbucks PH also launched three handcrafted beverage to grace the Teavana launch locally. Of course most of the main ingredients used in the Teavana drinks were from the full leaf tea products mentioned above. :)
Another change in season means new card! Welcome this new season with delightful leaves in every shade of the autumn spectrum - red, yellow, orange, brown and green. This is available for an initial consumable amount of P500.
Because the middle of the autumn season is here, the Mid-Autumn Festival aka the Moon Festival is celebrated where the moon is at its brightest and fullest. This is available for an initial consumable amount of P300.
