Keeping Things Colorful This 2016

Wednesday, December 30, 2015

2015 has truly been a wonderful year for me as it was full of adventures. Through ups and downs, I know I was able to stood up and fight for what I truly believe in. I had to say that the challenges I've been true are no joke and I'm just happy I got out of it.

I painted my nails with the frosted Sweet Surprise to attract a sunny 2016. I added a hint of glitter to add sparkle on it.

Luwak White Koffie: The Coffee Game Changer

Saturday, December 26, 2015

As what Ross from Friends said, "I don't wanna spend the rest of my life drinking cappuccino with a "K".

So am I Ross, so am I.

I've been very hesitant in buying / drinking 3-in-1 coffee not only do they taste overly sweet but also, the spirit of coffee isn't present on it. From then on, I became a fan of coffee houses and their specialties. But upon trying the Luwak White Coffee, looks like I'm gonna be loving a cup of coffee from sachets again so that I can start my day right without going to a cafe that much anymore.

Holiday Beauty Haul: Korean Beauty Products!

Friday, December 25, 2015

'Tis the season to be all out splurgy because hey, it's the holiday season! This year, I've promised myself to invest more on skin care rather than on makeup. Though, utilizing your face as a good canvass could be a good practice for artistic skills, I'd rather prefer wake up on a good morning and take a good, no-filter selfie. :p

With all my obsession in Korean cosmetics, I've decided to put my money to the beauty products from Etude House and Tony Moly. Situated in a strategic location in Alabang Town Center, I've always passed through them but wasn't able to get my hands on to their products till mid this year.

Get to know the beauty products I've bought just in time for the holidays and you might just want them for yourselves, too!

Hair's Holiday Ready with Jing Monis Salon!

Monday, December 14, 2015

For the longest time, I've been wanting to tame my tresses from my past hair makeover by having my split ends trimmed over at the nearest salon. But with time as my biggest opponent, I had to move my schedule most of the time till nothing has happened until recently.

Just in time for the holiday season, I'm ecstatic to be having Jing Monis Salon (yes, the famous celebrity salon of the stars) to do special works on my hair!

Beautiful Inside & Out With Myra Facial Wash

Saturday, December 5, 2015

The weather starts to chill and extra tender loving care to our skin should be prioritized in this kind of season.

I personally invest on good skin care products that would preserve my skin's great condition given that my skin tends to dry easily.

Upon receiving this beautiful floral tin can with Myra Facial Wash Products and a blue Aquazorb towel, I'm ecstatic to find out its wonders and why does it appeal to the Filipina taste.

Both the Myra® VitaSmooth and VitaWhite Facial Wash - Moisturizing and Facial Wash is enriched with antioxidant Vitamin E  beads which protect and nourish skin to help keep it healthy with a youthful glow.
Since I'm not into whitening my face, I gave the Myra® VitaSmooth and VitaWhite - Moisturizing Facial Wash a try and results were beyond what I expected.

The soft scent of the facial wash was prominent as I opened the tube. Lather of the product may not be that much (maybe because I'm used to foam cleansers), but this facial wash was able to make my skin smooth in an instant. As if I've already placed powder on it! For Php 70 - Php 75 pesos, this can be a head start to teens to young adults who are starting to maintain their skin. Like me! But the best thing about this product is that it's hypoallergenic. Given my sensitive skin, it didn't cause any rashes and instead, it even complimented my skin and made it smoother.

But like any skin care regimen, it wouldn't be complete if you nourish yourself holistically. Skin care should be done inside and out, such as sleeping on time and taking your trusted Vitamin E capsule, to help your skin to be at its best!

Best Ramen for 3rd Year Anniversary Celebration

Friday, December 4, 2015

As of writing, it's the 3rd Anniversary of me and my boyfriend. Duhh, as if it's not in the title.

Contrary to some couple nowadays, we are the laid back ones who prefer hunting places to eat and immerse ourselves to different cuisines. Thanks to his friend Cris, we've found the best ramen place
in the south!

Ramen Yushoken resides along the compound of Molito Mall in Alabang. It can be found along the strip of other asian restaurants like Yoree Korean BBQ.
"Their ramen is derived from "Ramen God" Kazuo Yamagishi, the little blue statue found on their shelves. He is the most revered and influential ramen personality in Japan today. Having invented the popular tsukemen or "dipping ramen", more than 100 chefs who worked under Yamagishi have opened their own restaurants across Japanese, featuring Tsukemen on their menus."

We were welcomed by this menu that also serves as a place mat at the same time! Talk about less wastes! There was a category on this menu (right side) where it discusses the Ramen Yushoken 101 in the menu slash place mat. It is a great guide for newbie to Japanese cuisine who want to get the best out of their moolahs. It tackles the four different base sauces in their menu, description of side dishes and common ramen etiquettes that we surely want to keep in mind. Also, I'll add on there that their ramen is not available for delivery just cause nobody can't indulge in a cold ramen. Eeew!
