PCD Over and Over Again at All Time Low Featuring The Maine Concert Live in Manila

by - Sunday, September 06, 2015

I was first introduced to Dear Maria Count Me In back when I was in third year high school. Since then, I've been following All Time Low, their latest EPs and album releases, and even Full Frontal. Thanks to Jonas the boyfriend (aka the more fangirl between the two of us on All Time Low) because he kept me intact to the band. Moreover, some of the All Time Low songs had become the soundtrack of my life; Weightless, Therapy and Tidal Waves to mention a few.

So yeah, like any hustlers out there, I didn't miss the chance to see this band for the second time around. The first time I saw them was at Bazooka Rocks 2 (see my photo diary of the festival here). The first time was truly a night to remember and not seeing them once again would tear me apart.

Due to financial constraints, I was able to buy my tickets at the day of the concert itself. I'm feeling a little nervous because I might not get a good slot. But then, God is good and I was able to score a lower box ticket for me and my boyfriend around 4 pm.

Little did I found out that they were starting to sell official All Time Low and The Maine Merchandise at the same time so I zoomed my way near the line going inside the line since that's where the tent for the merch is located.

Everyone's a little panicky since the shirts and other merchandise are selling like pancakes. Luckily, I get to score the last  two medium maroon ATL shirts.

Here's some shots by THE Tom Falcone during soundcheck (which I wished I was able to witness). But thanks to the All Time Low page for at least uploading these photos to cure the PCD in me.

So happy to be seeing ATL's performance with mah bro and boyfie.

For everyone's information, The Maine visited the country once again to promote the 8123 DVD which part of it was filmed at the 8123 Tour back in January 2014 with Nick Santino and This Century.

The band gave a heart-stopping opening act at around 8 pm. See list below for the setlist:

Miles Away
Run
Growing Up
Inside of You
Misery
Same Suit, Different Tie (ext. intro)
Like We Did (Windows Down)
English Girls
American Candy
Right Girl

Just a little back story, while everyone's watching The Maine, I saw 4/4 of All Time Low watching their performance. Can't contain myself so I started waving at them and called them out eventually. They started waving. But then, the bouncers had to let them leave the stage so that it won't cause a commotion. Hahaha.

Even though I was at the lowerbox, I saw everyone dancing and feeling every song of The Maine. Also, everyone stopped and stared to John (vocalist of The Maine) as he climbed his way up the speakers on their last song. Funny how he was dancing up there yet having the best time of his life with the fans.

So the time came when its All Time Low's turn to claim the MOA Arena stage. I was waiting for the white curtain which signals the countdown to All Time Low's performance. But its the Future Hearts tour, so maybe it doesn't apply?

For recap purposes, here's the setlist of All Time Low that night.

Satellite
The Irony of Choking on a Lifesaver
Lost in Stereo
Stella (ext. intro)
Runaways
Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't)
Weightless
Tidal Waves
Therapy
Missing You
The Reckless and the Brave
A Love Like War
Backseat Serenade
Time Bomb
Something's Gotta Give

Encore:
Kids in the Dark
Don't Stop Believing (Partial)
Jasey Rae
American Idiot (Partial)
Dear Maria Count Me In

Lucky fans also get to sang along on stage with All Time Low during their Weightless and Time Bomb performance. A dream I wish to come true once they go back in the Philippines. You know what my real dream is? To sing Remembering Sunday with Alex. Huhuhu.

It's truly a concert that can't be missed. Every peso is worth spending especially the hustlers who has Pulp Royalty passes. Meet and Greet plus front section? I should prolly start saving as early as now since they promised they would be back in less than 2 years. Sounds good to me. :)

To wrap this up, I'd like to share with you my full video of Jasey Rae (at the same concert of course). See you on the next All Time Low concert! ✌
