BYS Philippines Celebrates Three Glam Years!

Wednesday, September 30, 2015

I can still remember the first drugstore makeup haul I did almost a year ago to make way for Danah and Stacy's makeup workshop at Azta Urban Salon in SM Jazz Makati. In search for the perfect eyeshadow to complement my daily look, the saleslady recommended this small nude eyeshadow from BYS. This product is such a lifesaver for my day to night look from school to events that I go to!

Yellow Cab Opens at Il Centrio, Sta. Lucia Mall + Pizza Making!

Friday, September 25, 2015

There's no denying for my love over pizza and pastas. They truly make my heart jump for joy every time I get to feast over good ones in the metro. Growing up, Yellow Cab is one of the pizza chain we love visiting because of its 4 flavoured pizza and trademark ice cream.

So happy because Yellow Cab adds another branch under its belt: il Centrio in Sta. Lucia Mall!

Shop your way to Korea with Etude House and AirAsia Philippines

Saturday, September 19, 2015

I became a convert recently when I discovered the wonders of Korean cosmetics. At first, I wonder how were they able to market their beauty products locally given the fact that common filipina complexion are way different than theirs. But then, many of my friends are really hooked up and I can't help but get into the bandwagon as well. To mention my go-to Korean products now, it would definitely be Etude House! <3

The Country’s Biggest Slip and Slide Event Just Got Bigger This September

Sunday, September 13, 2015

The weather has gone cray cray lately and I just hoped I can just relive my summer moments where I could get to enjoy activities under the sun, not worrying about getting tan line. We're just lucky that  year-round sunshine is just one of the many perks of living in a tropical country such as the Philippines.

When Its Time to Actually Care

Wednesday, September 9, 2015

Disclaimer: So much babbling going on for the rest of the post.

Did it ever came into your senses when you said to yourself, "I'm over it already. What happens happens"?

I don't know that giving a f*** about everything is a necessity as you turn old. We sometimes hate our parents for it, but hey. This attitude is inevitable and you will sooner or later realize that you're slowly becoming a part of the cult.

PCD Over and Over Again at All Time Low Featuring The Maine Concert Live in Manila

Sunday, September 6, 2015

I was first introduced to Dear Maria Count Me In back when I was in third year high school. Since then, I've been following All Time Low, their latest EPs and album releases, and even Full Frontal. Thanks to Jonas the boyfriend (aka the more fangirl between the two of us on All Time Low) because he kept me intact to the band. Moreover, some of the All Time Low songs had become the soundtrack of my life; Weightless, Therapy and Tidal Waves to mention a few.

So yeah, like any hustlers out there, I didn't miss the chance to see this band for the second time around. The first time I saw them was at Bazooka Rocks 2 (see my photo diary of the festival here). The first time was truly a night to remember and not seeing them once again would tear me apart.

Due to financial constraints, I was able to buy my tickets at the day of the concert itself. I'm feeling a little nervous because I might not get a good slot. But then, God is good and I was able to score a lower box ticket for me and my boyfriend around 4 pm.

Little did I found out that they were starting to sell official All Time Low and The Maine Merchandise at the same time so I zoomed my way near the line going inside the line since that's where the tent for the merch is located.

Everyone's a little panicky since the shirts and other merchandise are selling like pancakes. Luckily, I get to score the last  two medium maroon ATL shirts.

Here's some shots by THE Tom Falcone during soundcheck (which I wished I was able to witness). But thanks to the All Time Low page for at least uploading these photos to cure the PCD in me.

Dining at Lola Maria Restaurant of The Legend Villas

Wednesday, September 2, 2015

During my stay at The Legend Villas (which you can read here), I was happy we were treated with must-try filipino dishes at Lola Maria Restaurant located on the main building of the hotel. Apart from the usual ala carte dining experience, they also hold Lunch buffets everyday and acoustic session on saturday nights.

This unlimited omelettes and pancakes for breakfast were totally to drool for! I regret getting tons of food when I realized that I can have my own layers of pancakes done by the chef on board.

The Lifestyle Wanderer Staycation Series: The Legend Villas

Tuesday, September 1, 2015

To be honest,I find solace when I do staycations after a week long of hardwork over office and personal stuff. Most likely, I treat this as a breathe of fresh air that makes me pumped up for the coming week ahead.

I've been recently stressed out by emerging things from the different aspects of my life that I actually wished a space where I can just relax and unwind even for just some days. Good thing, The Legend Villas come at hand and invited me over an overnight stay at their rustic yet grandeur hotel.

OVERVIEW

I used to be an intern at Summit Media and always notice the Venetian glass-framed mirrors infront of our building wondering if this place is a condo or apartment whenever I pass by. But then in the sides of Mandaluyong (near MRT Boni), didn't thought a motel turned hotel can be found along the busy streets of the metro.

This 3 star hotel, 100% Filipino-owned, features 130 cozy rooms alongside functional ammenities that cater different markets all in affordable rates.
