Backstage Access to TRESseme Runway Ready Fashion Show
For its second year, TRESemme is back with its Runway Ready Fashion Show to showcase the long hair trends brought by the country's top hair professionals paired with the SS 2015 collection from Manila's celebrated fashion designers.
Invited guests personally had a glimpse of hairstylists creating the top hair trends on the models before hitting the runway. Of course, they used the TRESemme Split Repair line to showcase the wonders of not needing to trim your hair to achieve split-free tresses.
Seeing all these mood boards on backstage makes me so giddy because of how extravagant everything looks. From models and hairstylists preparing for the show to live updates from the venue, everyone was really anticipating what's going to happen on the runway.
The first to strut their stuff is Victor Ortega with designer Rhett Eala. I truly adore Rhett's work printing his art on fashion pieces. True enough, I was mesmerized by the color sweeps and elaborated strokes on full skirts and dresses. Take note! He used real human hair treated with the TRESemme Split Repair line as his paint brush. Great job!
Victor Ortega created a mix of twists, loose do's and all sorts of braids on the hair of the models, complementing the collection of Rhett Eala.
The Bombshell blowouts and big buns made by Lourd Ramos went well with Francis Libiran's flowing yet shaped and structures pieces.
Last to showcase his pieces was Rajo Laurel with Jing Monis. High and tied-low at the nape ponytails and "out of water" hairstyles were paraded in Rajo's asymmetric to layered fringed skirts and coats.
Each of the collection were inspired by the long hair trend, encouraging everyone that we all can be Runway Ready without cutting our tresses. Instead, TRESemme has a Split Repair line can help us style our hair just like how the pros did it.
