The Year Ender: Ten Best Lifestyle Wanderings This 2014

Wednesday, December 31, 2014

As I was drafting this post, It just came to me on how gala I've became this 2014. I came out of my shell and discovered what life has to offer once I got out of my comfort zone. It was an achievement, I have to say. With that, I thought of coming up with this year ender post where I sum up TEN of my best wanderings this 2014.

If you are interested to know more of my wanderings, you can click the title so you can be lead to the original post.

This is the first major hair change that I've experienced ever. I always dream of having that beach waves and I can't thank Cynos enough for letting me achieve somehow close to what I wanted. At first, I was kinda in doubt with the results. Maybe because I'm still not used to it. Then months came where I receive compliments of how natural it looked--even my sister had her hair curled months after.

No doubt, Eyebrow Reborn is a life-saver. It instantly made my eyebrows a good frame for my face. I actually got this service from Sister Secrets PH. With this semi-permanent tattoo, I can go out without putting too much makeup on because my eyebrow says it all. It's truly life-changing! I'll never have another tattoo done except for my eyebrows. :)

The Best Christmas Gift I've Gotten This 2014

Thursday, December 25, 2014

This Christmas is probably different from the past Christmas that I've celebrated. For the past years, it was all about festivity, lots of food, and most of all, a complete family. My sisters were not here at our home (at the moment) which makes us all feel less complete.

I went to Church this morning and reflected on the readings. Still, I'm happy to be reminded that of all things that surrounding us, we should all remember that Christmas is all about the birth of Jesus Christ. The day God gave his only begotten son to save each of us from sin. I think that makes up from all the Christmas blues that I've been experiencing lasr night.

Few weeks ago, I received a special gift from someone who I knew just the last quarter of 2014. Shari  of Truly Aesthetic was so sweet to ship this box of Assorted Bath Affirmations that she actually handcraft all the way from North Carolina at USA.

I am so new to Bath Affirmations. Here is what is written on the description.

Indulge your spirit with an assortment of Bath Affirmations™! This beautiful variation is an absolute luxury to behold due to the exquisite way in which these all natural and organic herbal bath salts enhance the environment of your bath.

Luxurious Pampering Experience at Luminisce Holistic Skin Innovations

Wednesday, December 24, 2014

Woot! Writing this post on the 24th of December. Greeting everyone a Merry, merry Christmas! :) This blog post is probably one of my best wanders this 2014. And I cannot wait to share it with you all!

I got to try out Luminisce over at BGC and have my skin checked by Luminisce' Dra. Kaycee Reyes. Heard she got a good background at medicine since she finished her undergrad at University of Santo Tomas and post graduate education at premiere colleges at London.

Just to give you a background of my skin situation at my face, it was a blessing that my face is not as acne prone as some of my sisters. (Thanks mom!) But, with the kind of field that I am in, I am oblige to often stay up causing me to build up that certain bulges on my under eye. AKA the most common college student problem everr.

#BeYOUtified by Danah and Stacy

Sunday, December 21, 2014

Series of events had been happening side by side for me on the recent weeks. I feel so guilty not updating this blog as daily as I should. But still, I'm happy that you (aka the wanderers) are still there to check out my blog on whatever things I try to unearth.

Just to let you know, this is a blog post that I'm truly excited to share everyone since I consider this as one of the major things that I learned this 2014--and it's all about MAKEUP

Last November 25, Danah and Stacy hosted the #beYOUtified makeup workshop. A workshop that is filled with bonding while we learn basic makeup techniques and hair makeover at Azta Urban Salon-SM Jazz, Makati.

I just did my makeup haul from a drugstore near the salon hours before the start. That's how busy I got over the past few weeks. I rushed buying makeup stuff AN HOUR before the start of the session. So just imagine my stress before the workshop. Ha ha.

The reason why I still commend myself despite my rush makeup hauling is that, I still managed to check out other beauty blogs on what are the may-not-be-the-best makeup in drugstores but at least can suffice the need for a basic daytime makeup look the morning before I bought "drugstore" makeups.

Inspired By Bianca Gonzales' "Paano Ba 'To?!" Book

Tuesday, December 16, 2014

It's been a while since I last posted here. Hola, dear wanderers!

School has been a bummer. Requirements here and there, life events, plus my work at Sister Secrets, it's been quite challenging to juggle them all at the same time. But, despite the hardships, I take them all as a great opportunity to learn and enhance what I know. Everything's charged to experience.

There are times where I'm about to quit because life can be really tough at times. I know you know how that feels. I'm just glad that there are actually people existing, who I look up to, so that I can tell myself, "If they can do it, then why can't I?". And one of my #LifePeg is Bianca Gonzales-Intal.

Just to cut it short, I aspire where she is currently in now. A TV host, an Editor-In-Chief for Meg Magazine, Inspirational blogger, and now an author. To see her in person would already move me to be like her. And I did!

I'm lucky to get myself a copy of her first of many books entitled, Paano Ba 'To?! How to Survive Growing Up at National Book Store, Trinoma Mall.

Paano Ba 'To?! book is basically about Bianca's advice on different stuff from time management, family, Career and Money, Love life, and even Purpose. Indeed, anyone can relate to with this piece of art.

"We keep this love in a photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing,
Hearts are never broken
and time's forever frozen still.." -Photograph by Ed Sheeran

'Tis the season to be merry, Can't you believe it? Only 14 days before we celebrate Christmas? Time flies so fast!

As you can see on my introduction of this post, I wrote down some of the lyrics of Ed Sheeran's Photograph (which is my favorite song at the moment). Which leads me to telling you what Fujifilm has in store for all the photo savvy people out there. Including me.

6 Reasons Why I Will Dine Again At Fratini's Restaurant

Tuesday, December 9, 2014

As for me, I find SM Jazz, Makati an underrated place where you can find variety of food places wherein you can dine with your friends and loved ones.

In the lane of restaurants offering scrumptious food option lies Fratini's restaurant. A casual dining Italian Restaurant where you can find delicious but healthy options on their wide array of Italian dishes.

I listed below the 5 reasons why I will dine again in this Italian Restaurant. (In no particular order)

1. Wide Space, Clean looking Restaurant

This is how Fratini's look like from the outside of SM Jazz, Makati. Since the restaurant also offers cocktails, wines and other liquors, you can order and have your drinks outside while smoking. (Don't get me wrong, I don't encourage smoking here.) But I would love to tag my friends who smoke along when I dine in here.

You can check out there big menu from the outside and see what Italian food entices you!

You can also see Fratini's at Zomato. Click here.

Vision Building with BDJ Bookstore Series

2015 is fast approaching! Can you believe it? Insane because it's just 16 days before Christmas and I haven't had my Christmas shopping yet. And neither did I prepare myself physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially for the year coming.

When BDJ announced that they will be having a Bookstore Series about Vision Building, I didn't hesitate and marked the date. It was actually the first BDJ event that I attended which happened in the south. This one was held at National Bookstore in National Book Store.

Where is your Go-To Skin Centre?

Saturday, December 6, 2014

Hi, Wanderers!

This question is not being raised often but, "Where is your Go-To Skin Care Centré?"
Like what I said last time, it's very important to invest on your skin as early as possible to prevent your skin from aging fast. As for me, my teen years are over, that's why I choose Belmeré Skin Care Centré as my go-to skin care centre.

Last September, I was lucky to experience great skin care service courtesy of Belmeré Skin Care Centré at their relocated Alabang branch. From their strategic location at the south, the beautiful and kind owner Ms. Michelle, cozy clinic, reasonable prices of their services to the awesome staff, everything about Belmeré Skin Care Centré is commendable on my end.

On the last week of November, I was able to visit their San Antonio-Shaw Blvd. branch just near the EDSA Shangri-La Mall. The place was easy to find. Whether you're gonna commute or you have a car with you, you'll definitely can't miss this one out.
