PHOTO DIARY: Bazooka Rocks II Experience

Friday, January 31, 2014

All Time Low has been the sound track of my life for the past few years and I won't let the opportunity miss as they visit the Philippines for the second time now. It's a promise to myself that I promise will come true.

Of course I wouldn't pass the chance to be at the Bands Meet & Greet at SMX!

I was really looking forward to Tonight Alive, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, A Rocket to the Moon and All Time Low on this much awaited night. And yes, my expectations were exceeded on this night!

Here are some of the photos from Bazooka Rocks 2!

They said Dainty Chick

Since 2014 came, I always wanted to be more showy when it comes to my style in fashion. But honestly, I am still at lost of what my style is. I guess I'm still sticking to my experimental instincts in putting clothes together for now. I always seek the fun of seeing a nice piece of clothes and wonder what can I match with this one to make the outfit look well. :)

Music Cover: Let It Land by Tonight Alive

Sunday, January 26, 2014

I would like to congratulate myself for doing my first cover ever! [Hooray! :)]

What made me inspired to do this cover was that someone lend me a Samson Meteor Mic. Perfect for sound recording! So I wanna try it out myself and judge the quality of the mic.

Tonight Alive is very close to my heart since the moment I saw them perform live in Mall of Asia Grand Atrium and Bazooka Rocks II. I'm a fan of this album and so does The Other Side album.

So here you go guys! Please listen and tell me what do you think of this one!

Credits to Jonas Perlas for doing the guitar part! :)

My Eyebrows are finally reborn!

Saturday, January 25, 2014

I always have this love-hate relationship with my eyebrows. It actually started out when I was in Grade six. It was in my Graduation day when my mom brought me to a salon nearby to get my hair and makeup done.  Everything went well until this female at heart noticed how bushy my eyebrows are. She said that it looks so ugly that’s why she shaved my eyebrows without asking for my permission. Since I was too young back then, I already thought she knew what will make me look at my best for my graduation. Which is basically the reason why I let her do it. Once she was finished overdoing my arches, I wanted to cry because my eyebrows got super thin. And take note, they are not parallel!  I don’t want to show her how disappointed I was that’s why I just told my mom to pay for the services rendered. We left the salon immediately after that.

From then on, I never let anyone touch my eyebrows. I just don’t care no matter how bushy it looks like! That traumatic day really made a mark its mark in my mind.

When I reached college, I did my own make up when going to different functions. But the only problem that I encountered with makeups is that I don’t do my eyebrows because I don’t know how! When I look at my photos taken during an event, it seems like my eyebrows were on a disappearing act! It was a wakeup call for me! A call to action that I should prettify my eyebrows in any way!

It's been hella great start for me this 2014! Opportunities are all over the place and I just can't contain how excited I am to do all my goals for this year!

One of my major goals for this year is to be experimental when it comes to my OOTD. I wanna go out of my usual get-ups and make a new statement for this year.

Now, I'm more than happy to start 2014 with vibrant colors on this blog post.

FOOD: One day at Chelsea Market Café

Saturday, January 11, 2014

So it was one typical weekday when I had a lunch meeting with some of the people I work with over at Chelsea Market Café at their branch at the Podium Mall.

I got quickly stunned by the vibe that it has because everything just looks great in the eye! Love the thought that there are ceiling fans which make the place look like country-ish.

Hair Breakthrough This 2014

Sunday, January 5, 2014

I am so excited to tell you about my new hair transformation this 2014! I really believe that 2014 will open lots of opportunities for me. Well, 2013 was a blast so I expect more fun and exciting activities this year!

Just recently, I went to the Technical Training Center of Cynos Inside Hair Care to experience Nano Perming. This is like a breakthrough for my hair since all that I do with my hair is hair coloring and a hair relax once I think two to three years back.

If you aren't familiar with Cynos Inside Hair Care yet, they are an international brand which has a complete range of hair care products for the professional salon. From color to treatments, styling and basin stock as well as straightening and perming, they got wide range of products for that.
